I have had dogs all my life; do I still need to read these four puppy books?
Some people tell me: "thankfully, this isn't our first dog, so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect".
Many of the dog behavior experts I've talked to tell me: "I often notice how people, including experienced dog owners who have had puppies before, tell me: "it's so much harder, and it's so difficult, and I forgot all about what a lot of work it all is".
It's safe to conclude that no two dogs are the same, and whatever worked for your previous dog won't necessarily work for your next dog".
